The Cathie Stankevitch Foundation was invited to submit an application for a minibus in early 2018 and despite stiff competition our charity was chosen as the recipient of a 17 seat mini bus.
The minibus will be used for picking up and dropping off local young people and families to enable them to access our activities, at our Youth Club and Family Hub.
Julie Cartright from Vinci UK said, “I was delighted to nominate the Cathie Stankevitch Foundation as a sponsor. I have seen first hand the aims and objectives of the charity and they are very exciting and will no doubt have a very positive impact for local people.
Johns’ personal vision aligns perfectly with the CSR policy of Vinci UK and the application submitted was very strong”.
Charity founder John Stankevitch went on to say, “Being chosen as the recipient of the mini bus came as a complete surprise. The mini bus is going to open up opportunities for those that are most isolated in our communities, to access our provision.
Transport for local low income families can be prohibitive in terms of accessing provision but our charity can now work closely with families in need.
I’m sure the mini bus will be in constant use and will keep us very busy in the community, bringing people to us and getting them home safely after they have participated in our activities at Unit 1, our Youth Club and Family Hub”.
