ReSport Website Manager


ReSport is our primary community project for 2017. We currently have 0ver 40 local schools across Halton Borough that are collecting unwanted sportswear and sports equipment on a regular basis from pupils and families in the local area, as well as us having drop-off points in all of the local Co-Op stores and Community Centres.

Donated items are then taken to our storage facility and laundered, before being redistributed to individuals and families in need across Halton.

About this Opportunity

We are looking to recruit a volunteer for the flexible role of ReSport Website Manager, which can be done from home. The role involves different aspects of website management, but predominantly will involve the uploading of sportswear and sports equipment images onto the website, which can then be shared on our social media channels. There will be a small amount of post editing and categorising involved but only at a very basic level. 

Practical Considerations

We believe this role would be suitable for a person aged 14+. The role involves management of a website and full training will be given to understand the basic system used. Travel expenses can be claimed if required.

Additional Information

A good understanding of computers and particularly basic website knowledge is desirable but not essential as training can be given. We are looking to recruit a volunteer that is able to recognise sports brands/teams as the uploaded images will need to be described. Information on each item image to be uploaded to the website will be provided by our ReSport Storage Co-Ordinator.

A DBS check may be required in some circumstances. References will be required in all cases.
