The Cathie Stankevitch Foundation is absolutely delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant of almost £10,000 from the Big Lottery Fund.
The awarded figure will be used to fund the further development of the Charity, including establishing an office space, which will be vital to our growth plans.
In addition, the funding will give us the opportunity to provide appropriate Safeguarding, First Aid and Child Protection training for our Trustees and volunteers, as well as enabling us to carry out DBS Checks on those who work closely with our organisation.
2016 was a huge learning curve for the Cathie Stankevitch Foundation and we quickly learnt that in order to deliver on our Charitable objectives as a Charity, we would require support at a very basic level.
Through the award of the Big Lottery Fund grant, we are now able to purchase some much needed office equipment, such as computers, furniture, a whiteboard and a projector and screen.
The remaining funding will be spread further across the development of our website and our promotion enabling us to now be in a position to engage with many more people in our communities.
