The Cathie Stankevitch Foundation are delighted to have teamed up with Martin at RedCape to give the Charity a family friendly boost.
Lightning has been selected as the official charity car mascot for 2017 with the new ‘Cars’ film coming out in the summer, and his services are being provided courtesy of trustee Martin Ballard and his company, Red Cape Solutions.
Lightning is undertaking a country-wide tour and will be branded with the Cathie Stankevitch Foundation details on the car so the word is spread far and wide.
As well as spreading the word, Lightning will be at some of the Foundation’s events this year for families to have photos with, and all bookings taken from March 1st 2017 will see 25% of the booking fee donated to foundation, so if you want Lightning to pay you or your school/workplace/birthday party a visit you can be safe in the knowledge you’re helping the Cathie Stankevitch Foundation and the people that the registered Charity engages with.
Martin said, “This year is going to be a big year for Lightning with the new film coming out, and with all the energy John has put into the charity, it’s going to be a big one for CSF too – so why not see if we can make it even bigger!
Lightning’s got bookings from Scotland through to Wales and Southern England, so it’s all going to help raise the profile and have the magnificent work John is doing seen by as many people as possible.”
John said “I’m absolutely thrilled to have Lightning on board with us for 2017 and we are already looking at some events for this year where he can come and visit the children and young people. Its a fantastic gesture from Martin and one which will no doubt benefit the Cathie Stankevitch Foundation in terms of spreading our name far and wide”.
You can book Lightning direct through www.lightningandfriends.co.uk or by getting in touch through the website and we will pass on your details, there’s also a list of where he’ll be appearing throughout the year too so you can track him down at comic conventions and other events.
