On The Widnes Vikings Shirts!

The Cathie Stankevitch Foundation are absolutely delighted that for the 2017 Super League season, the Charity official logo is going to appear on the front of every junior shirt.

Local businessman Andrew Edwards, and his company MadAboutMedia are the new Widnes Vikings official shirt sponsor for 2017 with their brand Play Casino Games, which will be visible on the front of all adults shirts, including the playing kit for both home and away.

Andy’s amazing gesture came completely out of the blue and of course we can’t thank Andy enough for showing his support to our Charity and we hope that this opportunity to feature on all the junior shirts for 2017, will give the Cathie Stankevitch Foundation even wider exposure.

Andy said “I have seen first hand the passion that John has for driving the Cathie Stankevitch Foundation Charity forward and he has a vision that is very strong. His energy will undoubtedly have a positive impact locally for many people including children and young people, through the community projects that the Charity will run in 2017 and as a local man with a local business we wanted to support the work that John is doing.

In the last 12 months John has already achieved so much and as a company we feel passionate about playing a part in making a positive change in Widnes. John already coaches juniors in the Town and with his background as a former Super League player and coach with the Vikings, we felt the partnership was a perfect fit, and we know Widnes Vikings were delighted to feature the Cathie Stankevitch Foundation logo across the juniors shirts.

John said “The positive feedback that I have received from Widnes Vikings fans has been fantastic and Andy has played a huge part in creating that. I have met with Andy numerous times and it’s clear that he wants to make a positive difference in the local community. By supporting the Cathie Stankevitch Foundation, Andy has helped us to raise even more awareness of our Charity, which means that when we begin delivering our community projects, it will be so much easier to engage with people because they will be aware of us and what we are trying to achieve”.

The Cathie Stankevitch Foundation alongside MadAboutMedia, wish the Widnes Vikings luck for the 2017 Super League season and we look forward to seeing local children and young people wearing the Cathie Stankevitch Foundation logo with pride.
